Arabic and Other Languages

Learn a language online can happen from anywhere at anytime. To learn a language online, you need to have the right tools. Sometimes learners ask themselves or instructors if they learn Arabic, will they be able to learn any other languages? Arabic is a Semitic language and because of this it shares similarities with other Semitic languages, such as Aramaic and Hebrew. Arabic has 28 letters in the alphabet.  It has consonants letters, long, and short vowels. In terms of writing, the Arabic language is cursive, and we write from right to left. Several languages use the Arabic alphabet, such as Persian/Farsi, Urdu, Pashto and Kurdish. Arabic learners would be able to read words or sentences written in any of those languages, but not necessarily understand what they’re reading! (Credit: bbc.co.uk).

If you would like to learn Arabic (MSA) or Dialect, or any other language, you can sign up with TAA-A (The American Arabic Academy) and start your journey to fluency.
