Immersion programs play a very important role in language learning. It focuses on many different subjects such as culture, art, music, and language. Immersion programs encourage students to use the language as much as they can to improve their language proficiency skills. These programs are conducted in real-life settings. TAA-A offers an online immersion program for K-12, college students, and adults.

  

Faculty Qualifications: Our faculty (instructors) have years of experience in teaching. They hold PhD, MA, & BA degrees in teaching.

Methodology: We use "The Natural Communicative Approach" in our teaching. It's a Communicative, Student-Centered Approach. There will be online live discussions; variety of individual and small group activities, reading of authentic materials, and viewing videos. There will be also online drills and quizzes to evaluate students’ progress.

 

Curriculum: We are using a unique curriculum to help students to start speaking and also to improve their speaking skills. We are using a variety of highly recommended and proven textbooks as well as our resources. Students will get the benefit from practicing the language with native experienced instructors. 

 

Course Expectation: Upon the completion of the course, students will achieve the required level based on The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) and The Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) standards.

 

Course Description: This course is designed to introduce students to the formal language. Students will develop fundamental skills in Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Culture in a proficiency-based environment that focuses on a maximum exposure to the target language and the development of functional language skills.
